Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the release of the EFE-504RBSP and EF-550RBSP, two limited edition models in its Edifice line of sporty metal watches designed to deliver the essence of speed and intelligence. The EFE-504RBSP and EF-550RBSP are named for the popular Red Bull Racing Formula One team. Red Bull Racing is a dynamic, young Formula One team that has been competing since 2005. The team challenged for the Formula One Championship in 2009, when it gained six grand prix victories. Having won five out of ten races so far this season, Red Bull Racing is currently fighting for the top spot in the 2010 Constructors Championship. Casio became an official Red Bull Racing Team Partner in 2009 and was delighted to continue with the partnership this season. Casio provides support for the team, led by drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. With the new models, Casio offers Edifice watches with needle and disk indicator stopwatch timing, designed to reflect the dynamic image of motorsports. The watches feature the Red Bull Racing logo on the watchface and are engraved with the words Casio is a Team Partner of Red Bull Racing on the back of the watch casing. Both model packages include a visual of RB6, the Red Bull Racing Formula One car. In addition, the EFE-504RBSP comes with a special panel that includes the same carbon material that's used for Red Bull Racing's Formula One cars. Casio is also releasing the EFA-131RBSP, a limited edition Red Bull Racing model for the European market featuring a watch face that has hands and an LCD.
