Geschiedenis en feiten van Danish Design

It was in the year 1988 when S. Weisz Uurwerken BV saw an opportunity on the market. They saw that there was a small offer in design watches while the demand of modern designs was high.

The designs of Scandinavian countries are well known because they are simple but elegant. Jan Egeberg was one of the first designers to design for Danish Design. During the years there were several more designers to design for the Danish collection like Anna Gotha, Lars Pedersen,  Martin Larsen and Tirtsah.

The Danish Design collection have high-quality standards. They have to be comfortable to wear and anti-allergic and the design has to be pure. All the watch cases are made of stainless steel, titanium or tungsten. The glass on the watch cases are either mineral or sapphire which is anti-reflective and scratch resistant. The watch bands are made of genuine leather or genuine rubber and the bracelets are, just like the watch cases, made of stainless steel, titanium or tungsten.

Danish Design watches are famous for its simple and elegant design but yet for a very fair price.
